Ashley began dancing at the age of four. She furthered her career by earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her past teaching experiences include, Academy of Dance in Reidsville, North Carolina, Reidsville Middle School in Reidsville, North Carolina, Tripp Lake Camp in Poland Springs, Maine, Imagine Art Studio in Ocracoke, North Carolina, and Weaver Education Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. She has been teaching at Academy of Dance for over 25 years and has held the position of director/owner. As one of the choreographers for the Rockingham County Theatre Guild, Ashley has trained actors in dance numbers for productions such as “Annie”, “West Side Story”, and “Grease”. Ashley enjoys sharing her love of dance with children of all ages.
