Dance pictures will be held at the studio on Saturday, April 17. Appointment times will be sent home with dancers.


October14, 2009
Recital dates have been set. Technical rehearsal will be on May 11 at 5:30. Dress rehearsal will be on May 12 at 5:30. The recital will be on Friday, May 14. The show starts at 6:30, dancers are to be in their dressing rooms by 5:30. The rehearsals and recital will be held in the Reidsville High School auditorium.

Rockingham Academy of Dance opened in 1979 under the direction of Scottie Penn. The name changed to Academy of Dance in 1996 when Ashley D. Brown became the director/owner. The studio teaches children ages three through 12th grade. The philosophy of the studio is to encourage each student to enjoy and appreciate the art of dance to the utmost potential.
