Academy Of Dance offers a wide variety of classes to its students. There are many classes offered for each age group, from 3 years old until a senior in high school.

Ballet

artistic dance form performed to music using precise and highly formalized set steps and gestures

competition classes

popular and widespread entertainment in which competitors perform dances in any of several permitted dance styles—such as acro, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, and tap

Ballet Company (Pre-Pointe & Pointe)

organization of performers and associated personnel (especially theatrical) that perform the same ensemble. Usually referred to as the chorus.

Jazz

dance technique and style that emerged in Brazil in the early twentieth century. Vernacular jazz dance includes ragtime dances, Charleston, Lindy hop, and mambo.

tap

dance in which the rhythm or rhythmical variation is audibly tapped out with the toe or heel by a dancer wearing shoes with special hard soles or with taps.
